Woonzorg on a mission
Woonzorg Nederland literally stands for care for living, and then really nice living. As a national housing corporation for seniors, they are active in 170 municipalities and manage 43,000 homes. To throw some more numbers into the battle: they rent out 30,000 of these to private individuals and 13,000 to care and nursing homes. Communication is therefore key to ensure the connection between people is secured and to stay in touch. It is the key to growing old with peace of mind. A new Residents App has been developed for this purpose.
IT-vitamines needed
Living independently for as long as possible through personal attention and innovative living arrangements, that is what Woonzorg stands for. They do this with a lot of personal attention by the residents’ consultants. Personal attention should not be lost, only technology can support this. IT can also connect because the lines become shorter and things are arranged more quickly. The lockdown within COVID-19 has only made this line of connection more important. A new Residents App became a must
Melonsheads @work
A clear objective was the basis for this project, after mapping out all needs such as informing and connecting residents, the construction of the Residents App could quickly begin. Developing the app was accompanied by the necessary API links with the underlying systems within Woonzorg to create the right efficiency. As a result, not only the residents were relieved, but also the employees of Woonzorg and the margin of error of data entry was significantly reduced. The Woonzorg ThuisApp is rock solid and is now used by 40,000 Woonzorg tenants for, among other things, digital participation (polls), submitting repair requests, news provision and serves as a communication platform to bring residents into contact with each other and organize activities.
